aNa is in Portugal for the XIX international biennial of Art of Cerveira. This famous foundation with national and international notoriety aims to encourage the creativity of the region, attracts any type of public, and extend its geographical focus to promote culture and exhibitions.
This concept is a real tool for sociological analysis, and it helps to increase the reflection between the participants. At the end of the day, the young girls feel free to discuss about their dreams and their desires.
The result is very interesting, surprising and most of all very emotional.

A Paint'Tube in the middle of the street
An outdoor experience
aNa installs her favorite medium in the middle of a street downtown Cerveira: the Paint'Tube. This innovative concept offers a real original support; a transparent tube composed of 7 plastic strips measuring 5.5ft height X 1.3ft width (1m diameter when rolled).

A simple but a wonderful creation
Ana is now going to work with the passersby, and it is one of her favorite public. In fact, people pass in front of the plastic cylinder and they are taken aback by this surprising structure. They are very curious and they do not hesitate to ask questions about it to the artist. Then, after a short explanation, everybody understand how it is easy to participate. In fact, they just have to take scissors, choose a color, cut a form on the adhesive, and stick it outside the Tube.
En fait, les gens passent devant le cylindre en plastique et ils sont déconcertés par cette structure surprenante.
Ils sont très curieux et n'hésitent pas à poser des questions à l'artiste. Ensuite, après une courte explication, tout le monde comprend comment il est facile de participer.
Ils doivent juste prendre des ciseaux, choisir une couleur, couper une forme sur l'adhésif et la coller à l'extérieur du tube.

An Incredible surprise
The opening of the Tube
After few hours shared with total strangers, aNa finishes her work with her signature on one of the strips. Then, it is necessary to highlight that this unique performance is understandable only with the last stage of production: the opening of the Tube. Once deployed, it has to be observed on the other side as the black lines must appear in the foreground. At this point, the participants are stunned and amazed at the final result; the association of their work and aNa's artistic performance.
L'ouverture du tube
Après quelques heures partagées avec des inconnus, aNa termine son travail avec sa signature sur l'une des bandes.
Il est nécessaire de souligner que cette performance unique ne se comprend qu'au dernier stade de la production: l'ouverture du tube.
Une fois déployé, il doit être observé de l'autre côté, car les lignes noires doivent apparaître au premier plan.
À ce stade, les participants sont totalement stupéfaits du résultat final. l'association de leur travail et la performance artistique d'aNa.

A great souvenir
After this outdoor experience, the Tube is moved to the Biennial Foundation to be expose. The giant mural is now a testimony of a sharing moment between the artist and her audience, and a souvenir of this wonderful performance.

Après cette expérience en plein air, le Tube est déplacé à la Fondation Biennale pour être exposé.
La fresque géante est maintenant un témoignage d'un moment de partage entre l'artiste et son public, et un souvenir de cette merveilleuse performance.
